The real deal about weight loss pills
Living in today’s high end and critical society is really difficult for some people. Sadly, while some are lucky enough to be born perfect, there are those who are physically underdeveloped or are not as endowed with the perfect body. Since conformity is the trick for one to get by in the eyes of peers, many individuals tend to do anything possible just to be considered “in”. Fat or obese individuals are oftentimes shunned by most people, and the extremely petite women are wowed upon by many. As such, women tend to do whatever it takes just to loose weight. Some go for surgical procedures and others prefer the natural way to loose body fat. Apart from surgery and exercise, there are those who choose to take weight loss pill instead. Defining weight loss diet pill Weight loss pill is a tablet that is often taken by obese individuals for the hopes of having their fat and wide bodies slim down. As the demand for weight loss pill continues to grow each year, the market for these products also flourishes. In fact, anyone can buy these pills almost anywhere in the world. There are two types of weight loss pills: The prescription weight loss pill and the over-the-counter pill. The prescription weight loss pill products are the ones recommended by doctors to obese patients. These products are considered cosmetic in nature, thus, requiring patients to still continue with their exercise and diet. On the other hand, over the counter weight loss pill products are the ones most commonly regarded as food supplements. Majority of these weight loss pills that are available in the market today are not really effective. Most of these products are inexpensive and falsely promise consumers of fast weight loss results, thus, making them irresistible for people who find surgery as a costly procedure and exercise as a difficult daily task. Side effects of OTC and prescription weight loss pills Over-the-counter weight loss pills generally contain high amount of amphetamine-related ingredients that can cause physical and psychological imbalances. As for prescription weight loss pills, the most common side effects are impotence, high blood pressure, hair loss, chest pain, and fever. Some things to consider Although weight loss pills are widely available in the worldwide market today, it is still important for consumers to remember that these products do not necessarily give fast weight loss results, for intake of these medications requires continuous or consistent maintenance of proper diet and exercise. When taking in weight loss pills, follow the exact dosage instructed by the doctor. If side effects occur upon using these medications, remember to immediately consult a doctor. Also be wary with products that claim to have herbal ingredients, for these are not healthier or safer than the other weight loss pills. Never fall for cheaper products just because they are noted to contain natural ingredients. Remember that diet pills work when the consumption is under the supervision of a doctor and is associated with proper exercise, diet, and positive attitude towards losing weight.

A guide on switching birth control pills
Birth control pills are one of the most common methods of contraception aside from condoms. However, unlike men who just have to look for the right size and fit to find one that is suitable for them, women cannot just use a pack of pills and switch to another for their next cycle. Similar to dating, most women may have to try and endure different pills and their side effects before finding the right one. For women who are thinking of switching birth control pills, below is guide on making the switch as smooth as possible: 1. Discuss plans to switch pills with your gyne. Your gynecologist is your primary ally in your quest for better sexual health. Discuss the effects of your current pills with your gynecologist and how these affect your daily activities. Your gyne can help you determine whether these side effects are normal or are in excess. If you have a specific brand of pills in mind, confide in your gynecologist. There are two kinds of pills, combination pills and progestin-only pills. Depending on the kind, most pills have similar formulations. Your new pill of choice may have the same formulation as your current pill which will make the switch ineffective. 2. Continue taking your old pill while waiting for the go-signal to switch. When your gyne warned you about stopping and switching to another pill during the middle of your cycle, heed the advice. Stopping and switching to another pill during the middle of your cycle can cause breakthrough or heavy bleeding and other symptoms like nausea and headaches. Aside from these, switching at the wrong time increases the chances of unwanted pregnancies and decreases the effectivity of the new pill. 3. Take your placebo or inactive pills while waiting. Birth control pills are usually on 21-day cycles with 7 days of free-pill days before you start on a new pack. If you and your gyne agreed to switch on the next cycle, take your placebo pills during the 7 days in between your cycles. This will cause you to have a period and prime your body for the next cycle and new pills. 4. Use additional birth control method. Pills need 7 days in your system to be fully effective in preventing pregnancies. So after starting your new pill pack, consider and use another birth control method when you engage in sexual intercourse. Additional birth control methods can come in the form of condoms or spermicides. 5. Give your body time to adjust. Allow yourself a few cycles of using the new pill before deciding whether it is suitable for you. It is normal to experience irregular symptoms after your first cycle of taking the new pill. It may take a long time before your body can get accustomed to the switch and change in hormones. You may have to endure a few side effects like headaches, excess weight, or heavy bleeding during this adjustment period. If the symptoms really worry you, consult your gyne about them.

Treatment of hemorrhoids part ii
Learn how hemorrhoids are treated through self care, medical treatment, and surgery. Now, British researchers say the compound could be an effective treatment for the severe pain that can follow surgery to remove hemorrhoids. Most do not require surgery or other treatment unless the hemorrhoids are very large and painful. This treatment is consequently effective to help prevent vein breakage after surgery, when an operation is the chosen method to remove hemorrhoids. This treatment shrinks hemorrhoids upon application and provides safe elimination of hemorrhoids within days without scarring, tissue damage, or invasive surgery. - Surgery to remove the hemorrhoids may be used if other treatments fail. Surgery to remove the hemorrhoids may be used if other treatments fail. For severe cases of hemorrhoids, such as prolapsed, thrombosed, or strangulated hemorrhoids, surgery may be the only treatment option. It is usually considered only for severe hemorrhoids. Surgery may be done if other treatments (including home treatment) have failed. No longer do you have to worry about messy ointments or expensive surgery with extensive recovery time associated with other hemorrhoids treatment. With early detection, a patient with hemorrhoids, is usually able to undergo a painless and non-invasive, non-surgical treatment using infrared coagulation (IRC). The vast majority of hemorrhoids don't require invasive medical treatment. Severe hemorrhoids may even require surgical treatment. Severe hemorrhoids may require special treatment, much of which can be performed on an outpatient basis. Therefore, hemorrhoids require the proper diagnosis and treatment by a physician. Small ulcerated external hemorrhoids usually do not require any treatment for hemostasis. Though PPH may be a simple and effective treatment for hemorrhoids, any surgeon attempting this procedure would still require formal training. Men are more likely than women to suffer from hemorrhoids that require professional medical treatment. Insoluble fiber is the preferred treatment for hemorrhoids, not soluble fiber as attested by the recommendations for wheat bran by so many surgeons. Changing one diet to include more fiber and water to soften stools and prevent constipation is also an effective treatment for hemorrhoids. Portable massage tables and massage therapy
Portable massage tables are the very important tools. Massage therapy is a hands-on management of the soft tissue and joints of the body and using a portable massage table can make giving and receiving a massage that a lot easier. A portable massage table has pairs of legs at each end, and two pairs of recessed centre legs. This system offers the advantage of carrying safe working loads of up to 300kg without any visible degree of table flex or torque so that the masseur’s effort goes into his client and is not wasted by bending the table. Fibre and aluminium are increasingly used in the making of portable massage tables since these materials offer essential benefits of tenacity, durability and low weight. Exotic aluminium portable massage tables are designed to be squeak-free and come in custom sizes, adjustable height and backrest; replete with face cradle, tapered, high-resilient, foam-cushioned, sewn edges with shoulder recesses to prevent restriction of blood flow to the arms when they hang over the sides of the table. What’s more, this ingenious piece of design folds just as quickly and easily into a compact carrying case! A massage suggests many various physiological effects. They are mainly due to the therapist's hands affecting the body in a way that influences all its systems – and mainly, the muscular by lessening muscle tension and sense of stress; the circulatory by reducing heart rate and blood pressure. Massage affects the lymphatic by improving the blood flow and lymph fluids in the body. Most important, massage therapy helps to meet the human need for the caring and affirmative touch. No wonder, lots of people find massage therapy so supportive in so many ways! Even the great Hippocrates who learnt this art from Herodicus way back in the 4th Century B. C., had advised thus in so many words when he said - "The physician must be acquainted with many things and assuredly with rubbing" (the ancient Greek and Roman term for massage). Of the different kinds of massage therapies available, the most sought after are the Swedish massage, Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral Balancing, Chi Nei Tsang, and the increasingly popular Kerala Ayurvedic massage therapy. Ancient Massage was essentially a floor massage. However today, as in all other spheres, technology has taken the driver’s seat to produce massage tables which are not only classy and comfortable for the client, but also provides access convenience and resilience for the masseur.

The easy way to get in shape pop a pill take a supplement
Sick of torturing yourself from dieting and spending hours at the gym? Do you sometimes wish you could warp a 100 years into the future to get a scientific miracle drug (or operation) that give you the exact body type you desire? How fun and easy it would be if you could buy a magic supplement bottle and pop a pill? Well guess what, we have a WONDER supplement that will solve all your problems. For only $79.95 you can have a model hot body overnight and never even have to break a sweat! Just call 1-800.... Okay enough of that boloney.... Sorry for the harsh reality but there currently exists no supplement, drug or pill that will get you in shape without a proper exercise program and diet (unless you own a time machine). However if you are an a Olympic athlete and other average joe/jane looking to get in better shape using the proper sports supplements can help you maximize your potential. You don't necessary have to juice up or take some sort prescription power stimulate. The basic supplements of Creatine (especially Creatine ethyl ester), nitric oxide (or the more powerful nitric ethyl oxide), caffeine and BCAAs can do wonders if you time them right. 1. Creatine Ethyl Ester You would have to be living under a rock if you haven't heard about Creatine. But what you should know there are many different forms of Creatine, some better than others. The traditional Creatine mono hydrate was effective at building muscle. However it came with a lot unwanted side effects including cramps, water retention and bloating. To be completely effective it also had to be ingested with a large amount of carbohydrates Not exactly a great idea if you are trying to lose body fat. However the new Creatine ethyl ester does not require excess carbs to maximize efficiency. Creatine ethyl ester uses "ester orb" technology to make the supplement more lipophilic. This modification of the original creatine has a much better absorption rate and longer half-life than the original. 2. Caffeine The most widely used drug of the 20th and 21st century. So why waste time with supplements when you got a Starbucks right around the corners? Coffee is just as effective as the traditional caffeine right? Wrong. There are different forms of caffeine, especially caffeine anhydrous in pill form. Caffeine can sharpen your mental acuity, increase your endurance and there has even been recent evidence that it will immediately increase max bench (by 1.5%). Opt for caffeine anhydrous which is purest form of creatine for maximum absorption and effect. There are many excellent pre-workout supplements that have contain caffeine anhydrous. 3. Protein Protein is a gift from God when it comes to calorie consumption for athletes and bodybuilders. Protein only contains 4 calories per gram compared to alcohol (7 calories) and fat (9 calories). Since it's slow digesting it usually wards off hunger in dieters and is essential for muscle recovery. To get your protein you could be like Sylvester Stallone in Rocky I and down your egg whites at 5 AM. You could also gulp gallons of milk (which contains the slow digesting casein-.great before bedtime). However wouldn't it be easier to mix some powder in water? Pure 100% whey protein is very extremely important before and after strenuous workouts. Try opting for a whey protein that contains whey isolate, micro ultra filtered whey concentrate, whey peptides and all the essential amino acids. 4. NE2 - Nitric Ethyl Ester A few years ago l-arginine boosters emerged as a viable bodybuilding aid. It was discovered that the dilation of blood vessels could help aid with muscle recovery, endurance, muscle "pump" and increases in the strength and endurance. So far l-arginine supplements have been best thing since creatine. There are even further modifications such as arginine ethyl ester that uses ester orb technology to only further enhance the potency of this supplement. 5. BCAAE2 - Branched Chained Amino Acid Ethyl Ester If you are working hard in the gym or training hard in your sport you will likely encounter the problem of muscle catabolism. Over training, lack of rest and proper nutrition can be counterproductive and actually strip you of your hard earned muscle gains. To combat this you need all of the supplements above plus BCAA (branched chain amino acids). BCAAs aid in muscle recovery and also help activate the growth hormones, IGF-1 and can reduce cortisol secretion preventing muscle breakdown. There now an even more powerful form of branched chain amino acid supplements called BCAA Ethyl Ester . This product contains Ester-Sorb technology to help improve the absorption. The supplement also contains a potent matrix of L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. Okay are you ready to empty your wallet on these 5 supplements? Doing so well ensure that you will have that beach model body in 24 hours, done deal. Don't fool yourself. The word supplement means just that; to "enhance" or "add to". It cannot and will not help you obtain your goal unless you are doing everything else correctly. That means resistance training, cardio, dieting and rest. Easier said than done. However if you are serious about losing that flab and getting stronger/bigger you must first set a solid foundation of a consistent training program. After you found your base (and most serious bodybuilders and athletes already have) don't forget the details i. e. bodybuilding supplements.

Surgical solutions for arthritis pain relief
During this time, he or she should discuss all of the any potential risks involved with the procedure as well as all of the alternative measures. However, a decision is made to continue with the surgery, the doctor will recommend a procedure that he feels is best suited for the patient’s condition and then will explain what that procedure entails. Note that sometimes before surgery, doctors prescribe blood-thinning medication and advise you to do various joint movement activities or exercises in order to increase circulation. Some benefits of going the surgery route can include the stabilization, improved alignment or replacement of a joint so that you can have greater mobility, flexibility, overall use and range-of-motion. Surgery may also be able to provide some level of pain relief where other treatment options might have failed. Be aware there are possible risks with surgery, though, like blood clots resulting. And your healthcare specialist may advise against surgery if, for example, you have existing health problems that could pose possible unwanted risks. Some of these problems could include sickness or infections that would need to be healed first, being over weight, which could cause more stress and delayed recovery, lung problems or heart disease. Common types of surgery used in the treatment of arthritis follow: Arthrodesis – This is the joining together or fusion of joint bones. Arthrodesis helps stop the progression of the disease at the point of fusion, ending the pain. Loss of the joint’s flexibility can result. However, the area will be better able to handle weight and offer general movement. In other words, the joint may not be 360-degree-flexible any longer, but there will be some lesser-degree of flexibility overall without pain. Arthroplasty – This is the replacement or rebuilding of an entire joint. And it is intended for those with high-level pain and movement impairment. It is discussed in much more detail in the section immediately following this one, offering a focus with regards to hip replacement. Arthroscopy – Growing more popular with the improved use of technology, this procedure is when specialized instruments are inserted into the joint by means of tiny incisions. During this surgery, the operating physician has helping staff members who aid the computerized monitoring and some handling of the instruments. The doctor can see the joint on closed-circuit television and make repairs to it, while talking through a microphone. Then not only are there physical results, but the patient has a video with audio record of the entire occurrence for insurance and other records. Arthroscopy is often performed on an outpatient basis. And recovery time is generally much less than with other “open” surgery. Osteotomy - This is a medical procedure that makes an actual cut in the bone, most generally to correct youth deformities like in the knee or hip. Osteotomy helps with re-alignment, stabilization, pain relief and the delaying of joint replacement alternatives for up to 10 years. Synovectomy – This procedure, generally done via arthroscopy, involves the removal of diseased joint tissue lining or synovium. Results can include swelling decrease, pain relief, improved but not completely healed joint health. Joint Replacement There are currently many options in orthopedic (bone) surgery for people with arthritis. Joint replacement is the most common option. According to the National Joint Replacement Foundation, (NJRF) over 435,000 Americans underwent this procedure last year. These numbers have boosted joint replacement to one of the most successful medical discoveries and the absolute most significant surgery in the field of arthritis treatment. Joint replacement is the process of removing one’s entire joint as well as any damaged tissue and replacing it with a metal prosthesis. This prosthesis provides the patient with much need relief from pain. This surgery most effective on the weight bearing joints such as the knees, hips, and ankles, however, it has been used for all joints with successful results. Hip replacement surgery consists of removing the entire hip joint and replacing it with artificial components. These components function in the same manner as the natural hip, with the same type of motion. When a patient elects to undergo hip replacement surgery, they have an option to use their own blood. There is a great loss of blood during the procedure, and patients are prepared for this ahead of time. They can elect to have their own blood taken and stored ahead of time so that when they need a transfusion, they can use blood from their own body, eliminating many of the risks associated with transfusions. This particular procedure begins with an initial incision. The surgeon will then proceed to remove the entire hip joint, including the ball, socket, and top of the femur. Once the joint, and all damaged tissue is removed, a metal cup is adhered to the pelvic bone. Then, a metal stem is inserted into the femur; leaving a portion exposed at the end for several inches. The doctors place a ball on the end of the exposed portion of the metal rod, and all of the exposed parts are lined with another antifriction material. The hip is reassembled, placing the ball joint into the socket and the incision is then closed. Fusion Arthrodesis, or bone fusion, is another optional procedure where the bones are fused together in order to prevent them from moving independently. This can be done two ways: 1. Bone Grafting is the method of stimulating fusion between two bones by placing a small piece of bone, from another region of the body, in between. This small piece of bone encourages growth for the surrounding bones, thus fusing them in place. 2. Implantation of a metal or ceramic piece, which is adhered to each of the two bones, using either screws or a special glue, thus preventing movement of the bones. Fusion is a common procedure and is used in conjunction with joint replacement surgery, which is more extreme of a procedure then bone fusion alone. During a procedure called Ostheo, doctors can evaluate the injured tissue and eliminate any loose material with the use of instruments that are inserted into the joint through little incisions in the skin. During the procedure, the surgeon can observe any damage to the joint on a closed-circuit television, and further remove any loose growths that could be the origin of pain. This sort of surgery can often be executed on an outpatient basis, and typically involves a shorter recovery stage than open/inpatient surgery. Rehabilitation times for joint replacement surgery vary from one person to the next. However, the average person has been shown to regain most functions within three weeks. A positive attitude can help to facilitate recovery. It is important for patients to participate in this by reassuring themselves as well as seeking support from support groups, family, and friends. Regardless of they type of surgery recommended, most people recommend getting at least one other opinion before proceeding. In addition, check out books, conduct your own online research, ask questions through health chat rooms, call your own local providers and learn all you can about your health condition. And if you do decide upon surgery, look and plan ahead, too. Will you need time off work? Someone to help around the house? Someone to run errands? Line up help with neighbors, friends, church members, family, co-workers and local services to pick up groceries, bring in the mail, clean house and basically keep things running in the interim. In short, take charge and reach out.

What is anxiety and how to treat it
There are several subgroups of Anxiety Disorders, with different causes and treatement. Anxiety disorders are a serious social and financial concern to American business, since they cost the country more than $42 billion a year in healthcare costs and lost productivity, according to "The Economic Burden of Anxiety Disorders," a study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry. More than $22.84 billion is spent on healthcare services, as those with anxiety disorders seek relief for emotional distress and physical symptoms. Sufferers are 300 to 500 percent more likely to go to the doctor and 600 percent more likely to be hospitalized for psychiatric disorders than non-sufferers. Anxiety disorders are the most common psychiatric illness and affect both children and adults. They develop from an interaction of numerous risk factors, including personality, genetics, brain chemistry, and life stress. Approximately 19 million adult Americans suffer from anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet only about one-third of those suffering from them receive treatment. The main feature of Generalized Anxiety Disorder is excessive, unrealistic and uncontrollable worry about everyday events. This constant worry affects daily functioning and brings physical symptoms. GAD can occur with other anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, or substance abuse. It can be misdiagnosed because it lacks some of the dramatic symptoms, such as unprovoked attacks of panic, that are seen with other anxiety disorders. For a diagnosis to be made, uncontrollable worrying occur more days than not for at least 6 months. The focus of GAD is fluid, shifting unpredictably from job issues, finances, health of both self and family, and smaller issues such as chores, car repairs and being late for appointments. The intensity, duration and frequency of the worry are disproportionate to the issue and interferes with the sufferer's daily life. Physical symptoms can include muscle tension, sweating, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea and/or nausea, cold and clammy palms, the feeling of having a "lump in the throat" and difficulty swallowing. Sufferers are irritable and complain about feeling on edge, tire easily tired and have trouble sleeping. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is characterized by persistent, recurring thoughts (obsessions) that reflect exaggerated anxiety or fears; typical obsessions include worry about being contaminated or fears of behaving improperly or acting violently. The obsessions may cause the individual to perform a rituals or routines to relieve the anxiety, such as excessive handwashing, checking appliances, repeating phrases or hoarding. People with Panic Disorder suffer severe acute attacks of panic for no apparant reason, which may mimic the symptoms of a heart attack or cause them to feel they are losing their minds. Symptoms include heart palpitations, chest pain or discomfort, sweating, trembling, tingling sensations, feeling of choking, fear of dying, fear of losing control, and feelings of unreality. Panic disorder is often accompanied by agoraphobia, in which people are afraid of having a panic attack in a public place, so they become afraid to leave the safety of their controlled home environment. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder can follow a traumatic event such as a sexual or physical assault, witnessing a death, the unexpected death of a loved one, or natural disaster. There are three main symptoms associated with PTSD: "reliving" of the traumatic event (such as flashbacks and nightmares); avoidance behaviors (such as avoiding places and other reminders related to the trauma) and emotional numbing (detachment from others); and physiological arousal such difficulty sleeping, irritability or poor concentration. Social Anxiety Disorder is characterized by severe anxiety about being judged by others or behaving in a way that might bring ridicule or embarrassment. This intense anxiety may lead to extreme shyness and avoidance of social situations. Physical symptoms associated with this disorder include faintness, heart palpitations, blushing and profuse sweating. Anxiety disorders also include Specific Phobias, an intense and unreasonable fear of specific objects or situations, such as spiders, dogs, or heights. The disproportionate level of fear is recognized by the sufferer as being irrational. It can lead to the avoidance of common, everyday situations. Patients often have more than one anxiety disorder, and sometimes other illness as well such as depression or substance abuse. Treatment of anxiety disorders includes support groups, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, anxiety management and relaxation techniques, and psychotherapy. Drugs therapy used to treat anxiety disorders includes benzodiazepines, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and beta-blockers. Often a combination of the two therapies is more useful than one exclusively. Up to 90 percent of patients will show improvement of their symptom from medical treatment.

That’s not to say that one has to become entirely committed to working out each and every day, but it’s in every individual’s best interest to perform some form of activity 3 times per week. Physical exercise can be performed in a wide variety of ways to keep it fun and interesting. For instance, the simple act of walking is a highly effective form of exercise.
It’s one that can be completed without supervision, without props, and without any previous experience working out. Joining a gym has a number of direct benefits as well. Not only will you have access to some excellent equipment, but you will also benefit greatly from the fitness knowledge that most personal trainers possess. Pay Attention to Nutrition - Diet also plays a significant role is one's overall health.
Everyone should be familiar with the dietary guidelines established by the leading health agencies and authorities. The "food pyramid" is by far the most popular set of published nutritional guidelines. The food pyramid advises people to include all of the major food groups - grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy and meat (or protein) - in their diets. Keep in mind that the food pyramid is merely a nutritional guideline.
The dietary needs of each individual will vary drastically, and what’s ideal for one person isn’t necessarily ideal for the next. By following these few simple suggestions, you can take control of your health and your life in 2006. Good luck!

How to clean a dirty aquarium
A fresh water fish tank requires about 30 minutes to an hour of work a week depending on the size of the tank. Waht you will need: 1) You will need a clean 5 gallon bucket that has never had chemicals or soap inside of it. 2) A hose or gravel cleaner 3) A bag of natural or synthetic sea salt I have split the work into two parts the tank which needs to be cleaned ever week on the same day and the filters which can be cleaned every 2 or 3 weeks. The very first thing you have to do before you start cleaning your fish tank is to unplug your tanks heater if you have one. The heater can not be allowed to be removed from the water while it is hot so make sure to leave it unplugged at least 20 minutes before attempting to remove it. The water help cool the glass on the heater if removed it could crack, or the glass could totally shatter. You should also remember to never stick your hand inside of any fish tank before making sure the heater is not only off but unplugged from the wall. A small crack in the heater could be more then enough to cause a shock to you that can be fatal. After the heater has ha time to cool you can safely remove the heater from the tank or it the heater is submersible you can just push it down to the bottom of the tank. Now take any decorations you may have placed in the tank, so all you have are the small gravel at the bottom, this will allow you to get any dirt that those decorations may have been covering up. Now if you do not have a gravel cleaner you are going to have to roll up your sleeves and get your hands wet. You will need to stir up the gravel to get the dirt that has settled between the gravel into the water, and start removing the water into the bucket with the hose. Do not throw out the water you will still need it to clean the filters. If you have a gravel cleaner, push the plastic tube into the gravel until it hits the bottom of the tank, then start a siphon into the bucket, every second or 2 move the gravel cleaner over an inch or 2 and repeat this process until either you have removed 15 percent of the tanks water of you have cleaned all the gravel. Now at this point you can clean the Aquariums filters. The insides of the filters are used to grow bacteria, that help break down the nitrites and nitrates that are in the water from fish waste and uneaten food. To make sure we don’t kill all these Aquarium friendly bacteria, we clean the filter materials and sponges in the dirty water that I also full of the bacteria. Take everything out of the filters and rinse them of in the bucket of dirty Aquarium water, then give the sponge a couple of squeezes in the bucket and reassemble the filters, and put them back on the tank. Now before adding the water sea salt must be added to the tank. All water has some amount of salt in it and to replicate the natural habitat of the fish there must be salt in your tank as well. Add approximately 1 cup of sea salt for every 50 gallons of water. Now you can add water to the tank, but you must make sure the water is the within a degree or two of the temperature of the water in the tank. A drastic change in the tanks temperature suddenly can throw the fish into shock and kill them or weaken their immunity and help give them a fish disease. I recommend filling the bucket with hot water and checking it regularly till it is the same as the tanks temperature, then slowly add the water to the tank, start the filters and the heater. Cleaning the filters only needs to be done once or twice a month, but the water in the tank must be cleaned on the same day every week.

The positive side of stress
Life, by general consensus, is a complicated affair that can be tackled in as many ways as there are people. It is possible to cruise by it without worrying too much, blatantly ignoring aspects and factors that can cause abrupt changes in one's life. On the other extreme, it is also possible to experience such levels of stress and anxiety that one is unable to find security only in certain areas of personal comfort. For others, life gets to them and they simply lose touch with reality itself, their mental imploding. Yet, all of the approaches that people have come up with to cope with life tend to be rooted firmly in stress. The fact is, stress is a prevalent and natural component of life. Even during simpler, more idyllic times, there was always a certain level of pressure that people had to deal with. The triggers that cause states of extreme duress differ from person to person, mainly because people have different levels of tolerance for it. Some may find a certain level of pressure to be absolutely intolerable, while others would be able to get through it relatively unscathed. Perspective and perception, in this particular case, appears to be the key factor in determining how much stress a person can handle. However, regardless of how one views the pressures that modern life piles up on a person, it still has to be dealt with somehow. Complete avoidance of it is not the answer. Abandoning duty and ignoring things that cause stress would inevitably be a bad move. Stress, in smaller and more controlled amounts, can be used as a personal signal. It can act as a reminder that something needs to be done and certain situations need immediate attention, which can help someone in assessing his immediate and long-term priorities. So long as the cause of the problem is approached properly and the person doesn't let the problem blow itself out of proper context, then a bit of pressure is not necessarily a negative thing. However, allowing the pressures of life to get to you is just as bad as simply ignoring them altogether. The human mind, while clearly a fine example of finely-tuned machinery, has limitations. Having too many things to do and not having enough time to do them can sometimes be seen as an example of poor time management, but for some people, having “too little time” means exactly that. Taking in too many tasks and attempting to multi-task beyond one's mental ability to coordinate can lead to rapid burn-out for some people, and irreparable insanity in others. It is people and situations like these that give stress the “entirely negative” reputation that it has, with people taking the whole thing entirely out of proportion. In the end, stress is very similar to fear. Both are taken by modern society and culture in highly negative light, but both are components of the human psyche that are as integral to being human as love and happiness. Both can effectively cripple someone and prevent them from living, but only if the person allows that to happen. Both of the above need not be feared, so long as the person is capable of recognizing that moderate amounts can be used in a positive manner. Stress and fear, in and of themselves, are not positive, but like anger, can be used to point someone in the right direction.

Medical malpractice what are the six greatest risks
First, lets make one thing clear, the vast majority of patients do not experience any form of Medical Malpractice. In fact the error rate seems to only be between 5 to 80 errors per 100,000 visits to medical practitioners. That not withstanding if you are one of those who become a victim of Medical Malpractice your error rate is 100%. Diagnostic Errors are the single largest area of risk accounting for about one third of all Medical Malpractice claims. Don't forget this may not just be caused by a direct mistake by a doctor; it could be that the doctor is acting on incorrect information supplied by some other person, but it still results in an incorrect diagnoses. Inadequate communication between various medical service providers was a major problem in producing claims, it is vital that doctors and other providers ensure that all relevant information is made available to avoid the risk of harm to the patient and prevent a suit for Medical Malpractice. Incorrect record keeping was the cause of many errors, these errors seem to be have been spread pretty evenly across the various medical disciplines, so it seems that bad record keeping affects all areas of the medical profession just as it does so many areas of everyday life. Errors in prescribing medication were found to be responsible for 19.4% of injuries according to a recent Harvard study, this hardly surprising when you consider that there is the potential to give incorrect dosage of a drug to somebody and also give the correct drugs to the wrong person! It seems that most medical errors are not the result of any one person failing in their duty of care towards the patient, but more in basic errors, in the way the system is organised. Simple things that would never have happened if the system had more safe guards built in. To few staff is the final major factor in producing medical errors, it is hardly surprising that errors are made when already tired staff are called on to perform extra duties. In a recent survey 50% of doctors and 70% of the public blamed overwork and tiredness as a major course of errors in the medical system. The above list of potential courses of Medical Malpractice claims is not exclusive, but it does cover the main areas, most of these could be avoided it the Doctors, Nurses, Dentists and other practitioners took more care. But that means they need more time, and time costs money so we find ourselves back in the classic Catch 22 situation. Roger Overanout

The rarity of symptomatic low testosterone
While almost a quarter of American males are reportedly suffering from low testosterone levels, only about 5.6% experience symptoms of the condition known in medical terms as Androgen Deficiency. In a study by Dr. Andre Araujo and his colleagues from the New England Research Institutes, it was found that not all men with low testosterone exhibit or experience any symptoms. There are fewer men with symptomatic androgen deficiency than there are men with low testosterone levels. As the most important sex hormone produced in the male body, testosterone or androgen is the hormone that is primarily responsible for producing and maintaining the typical adult male attributes. At puberty, testosterone stimulates the physical changes that characterize the adult male, such as enlargement of the penis and testes, growth of facial and pubic hair, deepening of the voice, an increase in muscle mass and strength, and growth in height. Throughout adult life, testosterone helps maintain sex drive, the production of sperm cells, male hair patterns, muscle mass, and bone mass. A man's testosterone levels decline naturally with age. However, there is no precipitous drop in a man's sex hormones as there are for women at the time of menopause. Symptoms of androgen deficiency include: · Loss of sex drive · Erectile dysfunction · Lower sperm count · Reduced fertility · Increased breast size · Bone loss or fracture · Two or more of what endocrinologists call "non-specific" symptoms: sleep disturbance, depressed mood, lethargy, and diminished physical performance. Men who suffer from male sexual health problems such as symptomatic androgen deficiency would benefit from treatment if they have no contraindication such as prostate or breast cancer. But treatment guidelines from the Endocrine Society state that symptom-free and age-related declines in testosterone should not be treated. According to Dr. Robert Davis, a professor of urology at the University of Rochester in NewYork, men with a waistline over 40 inches, high-blood pressure, and signs of insulin resistance, and the so-called metabolic syndrome, are at high risk of androgen deficiency. “These men have an incredibly high rate of androgen deficiency and treating them with testosterone may correct their metabolic syndrome because they may be able to burn energy better with more muscle. Testosterone replacement may allow these men to avoid some of the consequences of metabolic syndrome such as coronary artery disease,” said Davis. Androgen deficiency is an under-diagnosed and under-treated male sexual health problem. “One of the myths is that testosterone supplements will cause a cancer,” he says. Prostate cancer often regresses when testosterone is removed, but there is very little evidence to support the theory that normal testosterone levels increases risk of cancer. With regards to the men who have low testosterone levels but no symptoms, there is a possibility of bone density loss. According to Dr. Sol Jacobs, an endocrinologist and assistant professor of medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, “Even if you have a man who says, 'I feel great and don't want testosterone treatment,' at least measure his bone density. But usually the scenario is the patient is symptomatic and wants treatment.” However, the question of when to offer a patient testosterone replacement is highly controversial. Even the Endocrine Society's expert panel disagreed over the exact testosterone levels at which doctors should offer testosterone replacement therapy.
